Overview

Honeywell's HIH-4030/31 Series consists of Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS)-based humidity sensors that use capacitive technology to provide an analog voltage output in a solderable SMD package. SMD packaging on tape and reel allows for use in high-volume, automated pick-and-place manufacturing. The HIH 4031's hydrophobic filter is used in condensing environments including industrial, medical and commercial applications.
